We successfully delivered the refurbishment of the cricket practice lanes, ancillary changing rooms and operations facilities at Headingley Stadium in time for the high-profile England vs India Test match. The project involved the removal and replacement of existing cricket practice lanes to create a brand new indoor cricket centre to achieve England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) technical standards.
About the project.
Cricket Nets.
Delivered the supply and installation of cricket backstop and practice nets at Headingley Stadium by carefully coordinating with the flooring schedule, implementing protective measures for new surfaces, and safely installing nets using MEWPs to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption.
Sports Floor.
Our team delivered specialist sports flooring at Headingley Stadium, achieving 1500 Lux lighting levels suitable for bowling and batting. Collaborated with the architect on loose-laid specifications and ensured pitch flooring tolerances with expert installation, including a bounce test to meet required standards.
Changing Rooms.
We completed new changing room facilities and ancillary rooms at Headingley Stadium, managing demolition, new construction, and repairs of water-damaged areas. Delivered top-quality, fully functional training spaces, ensuring durability and comfort to meet the needs of players and staff.
